The Learning As I Teach (LAIT) Foundation Africa is a transformative platform dedicated to empowering educators and supporting their professional growth. By enhancing the capabilities of individual educators, LAIT aims to improve learning outcomes for the average African child, contributing directly to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
Founded in June 2017 by Dr. Abimbola Ogundere, LAIT Foundation is driven by a clear and compelling mission: to provide educators with continuous access to high-quality personal and professional development opportunities. These opportunities are designed to empower educators to become influential and impactful leaders in 21st-century education, fostering lasting change in the communities they serve.
Our vision is to improve the quality of education received by the African child by improving access to continuous qualitative personal and professional development opportunities for teachers, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals for Education by 2030.
